April Part 2

I took Timmy with me to the post office when they called to tell us baby chickies were there.  We could hear them peeping as soon as we came into the post office.  We took them home before opening them, but Timmy was so excited to hold them all the way home. :)

Little fluffies!
This first set were Dominiques, and they were supposed to all be hens.  One of them ended up being a rooster, and a few of them died. :(

We sure loved them, though!

Grandma and Grandpa Badger came home, and we went up the mountain to hike. :)

We put our feet in, but instead of rolling up his pantlegs, Bubby just stripped off his pants.  And because his pants were off, he took off his shirt too.

The rest of these are out of order.  Oh, well!
Someone spilled the chick food on the floor, so we let them out to eat it up.

If I remember right, this is a little chickie who didn't make it. :(

Cute baby Angelica
She's probably our prettiest hen.

Because we lost some of our original 10 chickies, we ordered more.  We accidentally ordered 20 more instead of 10!  After all the new additions and one or two more deaths we ended up with 24 chickens!  3 of them were roosters.

We LOVED having church at home!

Here are a few more from our trip up the mountain.
