Timmy made a nest in the dry grass at school and insisted I go take a picture when I went to pick him up. His teacher said he made a huge one earlier at recess, but it got ruined.
I got lazy. I took the kids to the cosmetology school for haircuts. Even Henry let them cut his hair. I did have to hand him my phone after a bit, but then he held still good.
Boys all done - they cut Bubby's way shorter than I expected, but he was so happy! He sat there grinning ear to ear the whole time they were doing it. It's soft and fuzzy. But I can't wait for it to grow back. He has a cowlick right in front, and it makes the short hair look a little funny.
They left these puffies above Michael's ears, so I cut those before we had Sunday. :)
I took Hyrum to Great Clips because I knew they'd do a good job. The hair school is a bit iffy. Handsome fella!

Timmy made a game machine out of a purse. Ha ha! I love seeing all the doodles on his homework!
This right here - this is the kind of stuff that makes our marriage so good. Good fun. :)
I scanned all our wedding photos and both of our moms' photos, and now I'm waiting until I have some dollars to print the actual book I made to celebrate our 20th anniversary this year!
Timmy was supposed to dress as his favorite Dr. Seuss character for love of reading week. The shirt with Thing 1 pinned on it was the best I could do, so he made some blue hair. In the next picture you can see how it looked at the end of the day. :)
Jeremy got a stretching app, and he does it every day. Henry likes to do it with him sometimes. :)
Bubby made a picnic for Henry and himself. The electrician came and did some work, and he left the table on the lawn, so these guys made good use of it. :)
Michael had an orchestra concert. He played the harder cello music this time because his buddy Tim was sick. He did good. :) You can tell he's learning good.
I think I took a picture of this so I could throw it away. ;) Timmy made that at Halloween. Cute idea!

Henry liked to go find Hyrum's lap when he couldn't get on mine. :) Hyrum wasn't always happy about it, but he could never say no. XD
It was spring break, and we decided to try out the cabins at Roper Lake. We got two of them because only 6 people are allowed per cabin. All four of the little ones were in with Jeremy and me, and then the other guys were in the other one. It was so fun! The beds were hard as a rock, but other than that and the fact that Henry could just run out into the dark of he wanted (no inside lock), it was great!
This is the cabin the little ones shared with Jeremy and me. They have heat and A/C. And the bathrooms a little ways away have showers!
Each cabin has a porch swing and a picnic table out front.

There are outhouses over by those cabins, but we were closer to the good bathrooms. ;)
Each cabin also had this setup with counters, a grill, and a little sink.
The kids learned our pass-code pretty fast. I have video proof that even Henry learned how to do it! And within an hour of our arrival!
We went for a walk around the edge of the lake.
This little bridge goes over a stream out behind our cabins, along the path that leads to the bathrooms.
Some people decided to stick their feet in. I decided it was too cold and stayed out. Henry got his pants a little wet, but otherwise, we did good. :)
We came to this very spot at the lake when Hyrum was 5 or 6. It's a fun little spot to swim. It's on a peninsula in the middle of the lake. There's a big ramada and some smaller picnic areas.
Michael stood in front of a tree and looked at the shadow and said, "Look! The tree has arms."
These are from Primary so they can spotlight our kids or something. I thought they were fun. :)
